Phiên bản DBS 1969 sử dụng động cơ V8 dung tích 5,4 lít, với tên gọi DBS V8 và trở thành siêu xe nhanh nhất thế giới. Mâm nan hoa, hệ thống phanh đĩa với lỗ thông gió trên bề mặt đĩa thắng. Hộp số tự động ZF 5 cấp giúp chiếc xe tăng tốc từ 0 lên 100 km/h trong vòng 6 giây, trước khi đạt tốc độ tối đa 225 km/h.
